Go-Karts Stolen in Savannah

The following info was received from Shawn O'Rourke one of the weekly go-kart racers here for the Winter Series:

On the morning of January 20th, SCUM entered my property broke into my cargo trailer and stole my Phantom Nemesis Champion Edition, serial number 030184 black frame 2003 model it has a black Chavous body with minor fiberglass repair inside the front nose piece, # 28 graphics, steel braided brake lines, black Mycron 3 steering wheel, Tommy Leopard racing engine with a yellow bell housing, 116 stamped on the front of the block ( this being once a Swint motor), aluminum chain guard, Capps carburetor,an upside down loop pipe with very thick header wrap, shiny polished carb adapter, a #49 jet, a Happy Cap on the fuel tank, I took a bicycle front crank sprocket cut it into fours and used 2 pieces as a pre tank brace, also there is an aluminum tank brace with the screwdriver driven clamp wrapped around the tank, a 2 disc Bully clutch, G-man plastic catch can, a G-man plastic rear sprocket guard, exposed rear bearings, MPC big brakes with Wolf plate, phantom pedal grips, a purple toe lock with a pin, magnetic drain plug on the engine, and I had just put a clear steering wheel visor with freshly painted bracket on it. It had Maxxis tires ht3s on Q+ rims balanced, Safrits Edge large seat with fiberglass repair mostly where the inside seat strut is bolted.

My stepdaugter's 99 Stinger chassis. I had it powder coated silver vein which is starting to be a popular color, white Stinger stickers, G-man junior plastic body with pink and white #28 and stars, also having the name Dallas in pink on it, purple pedal grips, pedal blocks for a shorter person, MPC mini light brake caliper black cherry color, standard master cylinder with billit cap, youth size safrits edge seat, Maxxis hg4s tires on Douglas rims, Wolf plate, Briggs Intek 6.5 engine gas powered, only mods racing header, aluminum chain guard, Ratech 16 tooth drum clutch, and a 72 tooth Gold speed sprocket(obviously she ran kiddie karts for a short time until this happened) .

The police tell me that it is somebody in our racing gokart world. It is possible that it is somebody who has it in for me at the track. With the evidence left at the crime scene none of my tools are missing out of the trailer who ever did this attempted to take it by cutting the tongue lock and large chain thru the tires.If anyone with any information would you please call SCMP (912)303-1835 ask for Det.Polite or Det.Ray Thank you for reading & posting this.
