(Savannah, GA) The
interest continues to grow for the 2nd Annual Coca-Cola
Young Guns Shoot-Out presented by Stock Car Racing and
Circle Track Magazines at Oglethorpe Speedway Park.
The event created to showcase young dirt racing talent in
the late model and modified divisions will return to the
historic half mile speedway the first weekend of February
2006. Drivers from all areas of the nation are
expected to enter.
Seaford, Deleware's
Hubbard Motorsports announced it's plans to Savannah for
Matt Hubbard's second shot at the event crown in the late
model division. The 16-year-old just completed a full
season with the MACS Series and also made appearances on the
World of Outlaw Late Model tour and NARA events.
Joining Matt this year at
the Savannah Shoot-Out will be his fourteen year old brother
Austin. The younger Hubbard is coming off a solid
rookie season in the late model division at Virginia Motor
Speedway and Potomac Speedway.
Both of the future stars
will be competing in the Coca-Cola Young Guns Late Model
Shoot-Out presented by Stock Car Racing and Circle Track
Magazines on Saturday, February 4, 2006. The race will
coincide with a weekend's worth of activities for the young
racers including seminars covering public relations, sponsor
communication and portfolio creation. Competitors will
have an opportunity to participate in a mock television
interview that will be provided to professional race teams
attending the Young Guns events.
Matt Hubbard looks
forward to his return and another opportunity to show off
his talents behind the wheel of his #12 Behrent's
Performance Warehouse/Trinity Transportation Super Late
Model.
